Privacy notice
Updated 15 September 2026
I’m Antal Zsiros, based in Hungary, and I operate Antal.Ai. I am the controller for the personal data I use to run this website, answer enquiries and send email updates. For privacy questions or requests, contact antal@antal.ai.
Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Serving and protecting the site involves technical request data, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information. This processing supports my legitimate interests in providing a reliable, secure website. Technical records are retained only as needed for operation, security and investigating problems, subject to the hosting provider’s retention practices.
You do not need an account to browse the main website. Browsing does not subscribe you to emails or grant permission for optional analytics.
Optional website analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics”, I use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions, such as engine page views, demo links, documentation links, shop visits and newsletter submission requests. Analytics may also include browser and device information, approximate location and a cookie identifier. The legal basis is your consent.
On the main website, the Google Analytics script loads only after you allow analytics. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in the website’s configuration. Our measurement code does not send newsletter email addresses, camera images, selected file names, facial measurements or other demo results to Google.
You can refuse analytics and continue using the site. Use Analytics settings to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement on this website and reloads the page; it does not undo processing that already took place. See the cookie notice for browser storage and duration. Google’s account-level retention settings govern event data; aggregated reports can be retained longer.
Email updates
If you subscribe, I use your email address to send occasional updates about computer vision engines, live demos and practical engineering notes. The legal basis is the consent you give through the clearly labelled subscription button. You then confirm your address through Mailchimp’s double opt-in email.
Mailchimp processes subscriptions and sends emails on my behalf. It may record technical details such as signup and confirmation timestamps, IP addresses, the signup source and your marketing permission to document your choice and prevent abuse. Your email address is sent to Mailchimp when you submit the form. The form does not require you to allow website analytics.
Your address is used for these updates until you unsubscribe. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. I may retain limited consent and suppression records as needed to demonstrate consent and respect your unsubscribe request. You can also contact me to request deletion, subject to records that must be retained for legal reasons. If email open or link tracking is enabled for a campaign, Mailchimp can report interactions with that email; these settings are separate from website analytics.
Browser demos and videos
The browser demos use your camera only with your browser’s permission, or process an image you select. Their computer vision processing runs locally in your browser. The website analytics integration does not collect the images, video frames or recognition results. A camera-start or demo-error event describes use of the interface, not the result of a recognition task. You can stop camera access by closing the demo or changing your browser permissions.
Recorded videos, including the homepage introduction, use local preview images. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedded player loads only when you choose to play a video. YouTube may process device and usage information under its own privacy policy, separately from this website’s optional Google Analytics.
Contact and purchases
If you email me, I use your message and contact details to answer your enquiry. Depending on the request, the legal basis is taking steps towards a contract or my legitimate interest in handling correspondence. I keep correspondence as long as needed for the enquiry and any related contractual or legal obligations.
The shop at shop.antal.ai is provided by Payhip. Checkout, payment processing, order records and the shop’s analytics and cookie controls are handled through Payhip and its payment providers. Purchase data may be used to fulfil your order and meet accounting or other legal obligations. The main website’s analytics choice does not automatically change your choice in the shop.
Service providers and international processing
Hostinger, Google, Mailchimp (Intuit), Payhip and their service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Applicable provider agreements describe the safeguards used for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. Provider information is available here:
- Hostinger privacy policy
- Google privacy policy and Google data processing terms
- Intuit privacy statement and Mailchimp data processing addendum

Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. Contact antal@antal.ai; I may need information to verify your request. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You can complain to your local data protection authority or Hungary’s National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH). Changes to this notice will be published here with an updated date.
