1. Agreement and scope
The Antal.Ai Software License Agreement, last updated 2025-08-14, applies to this product together with these product-specific terms. A copy is included as License.pdf in each archive and is available at https://www.antal.ai/License.pdf. These terms clarify how that agreement applies to training images and the free sample; they control only where their product-specific provisions differ from the Software License Agreement.
The paid product consists of proctoring-dataset-v1.zip and the companion proctoring-source-v1.zip. Dataset Materials means the supplied image crops, original contact sheets, prompts, labels, metadata and accompanying documentation. Source Code means the code and build materials supplied in the companion archive. The free preview consists only of the 240 images and supporting documentation in proctoring-sample-240-v1.zip; it does not include Source Code or the rest of the paid dataset.
Licensee is the purchasing individual or legal entity, or the lawful recipient of the free sample. Downloading or using the materials constitutes acceptance of these terms. The materials are licensed, not sold; no ownership or trademark rights are transferred. No exclusive rights to the imagery are granted.
2. Permitted use of the paid product
Subject to full payment and continued compliance, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to use, study, copy and modify the supplied materials internally and to incorporate them into Licensee Products as defined in the Software License Agreement.
For Dataset Materials, this expressly includes research, evaluation, preprocessing, augmentation, relabeling, training and fine-tuning machine-learning models, including for commercial use. Licensee may distribute, sell and license its own trained models, applications and services that provide substantial value beyond the supplied materials. Such distribution must not include the supplied Dataset Materials or Source Code, or make the supplied images available for extraction or reconstruction as an image collection.
For Source Code, the Software License Agreement permits private use and modification and incorporation into Licensee Products. Distribution of Licensee Products must comply with its restrictions on disclosure of the supplied Source Code and on repackaging the supplied software as a standalone library, SDK, toolkit or template. Training a new model does not require publishing the supplied training code.
3. Redistribution and private sharing
Licensee must not sell, sublicense, publicly host, mirror, share or redistribute the Dataset Materials, whether unchanged or modified, as standalone images, a dataset, an asset library, a public benchmark or a substitute collection. Changes of format, resolution, labeling or packaging do not remove this restriction. The prohibition on publishing or distributing the supplied Source Code, including modified versions, remains as stated in the Software License Agreement.
Licensee may share the materials privately with its employees and contractors solely for work on Licensee Products on Licensee's behalf, and remains responsible for their compliance. Private version control, storage and CI systems operated for that work are permitted. This does not grant contractors a right to reuse the materials for unrelated clients or to sublicense them to another entity.
Copyright, authorship and license notices must be retained. Licensee may publish its own findings and aggregate evaluation results, and independently written code that does not contain the supplied Source Code. Permission to publish the supplied images themselves is not granted; link to the official product or sample page instead, or obtain separate written permission.
4. Free 240-image sample
The same permitted uses and restrictions apply to the supplied sample images and their documentation, except that no payment is required for those files. The sample may therefore be used for private research, evaluation and model training, including commercial experiments and Licensee Products subject to Sections 2 and 3. This free license does not grant access or rights to the remaining paid files or to the companion Source Code.
The sample is a subset of the paid collection and is not an independent test set. It may not be redistributed or mirrored, including for free. Purchasing the full product is not required merely to exercise the rights granted to the sample itself.
5. Experimental nature and support
The images are AI-generated. Category labels describe the intended generated content and are not exhaustive manual annotations. Images may contain artifacts, ambiguous content or similar-looking patterns. No demographic balance, unique identity, fitness for automated proctoring decisions or model-performance level is promised. The creator's classifier did not achieve satisfactory real-world accuracy. The supplied crop-level training and validation split shares original contact sheets between the two sets.
No trained model weights or ONNX binaries are supplied. The product is a self-service project snapshot. No installation, training, integration, custom development, support or maintenance services are included. Updates, if any, are at Licensor's discretion, subject to applicable mandatory law.
6. Other terms and mandatory rights
The Software License Agreement's provisions on third-party components, compliance and taxes, warranty, liability, indemnification, termination, amendments, assignment and Hungarian governing law apply to these materials. Third-party components retain their own licenses. Purchases are subject to the applicable checkout terms and the Antal.Ai Support Policy at https://www.antal.ai/misc/support.html; digital sales are final except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these terms or the incorporated Software License Agreement excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer protections, including applicable rights concerning digital-content conformity, withdrawal, refunds and jurisdiction, remain unaffected and prevail over conflicting provisions. Downloading or using the materials alone is not a waiver of any mandatory withdrawal right.
This version applies to the materials delivered with it. Later changes do not retroactively alter previously acquired copies; updates and new purchases may have their own stated terms. For any permission beyond this license, contact antal@antal.ai. An exception requires a separate written agreement.
